Hi there! Lately, I’ve been on a mission to try out a range of makeup removers. I wanted to find something that could take off my makeup effortlessly without irritating my skin. These have been my favourites by far:
Bioderma
I first heard about Bioderma Crealine H20 through youtube and blogs. When I was at Salon Melbourne last month, the famous Rae Morris swore by this so I definitely had to try it. The areas around my eyes are quite sensitive. If I don’t remove my makeup properly, it starts to get really itchy. What I love the most about this remover is that it’s great for fixing up makeup around the eye area if you have made a mistake.This remover doesn’t leave a greasy film and is gentle enough to use daily.
Shiseido
Shiseido The Skincare Instant Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is a gentle dual-phase makeup remover that dissolves waterproof eye makeup and long wearing lipstick. I use this remover just for removing eye makeup. I soak a cotton pad and place it over my eyes for a few seconds and wipe off. This removes makeup very easy without tugging and does not cause any tightness around the eyes.
Shu Uemura
The Shu Uemura Fresh Pore Clarifying Gentle Cleansing Oil has been on my wishlist for a while. A couple of months ago, I finally made the leap and purchased it on Snet. A few pumps and your make up is melting off your face. I was a bit surprised, the oil is very thin like water. I would prefer it a bit thicker but not too heavy. Oil cleansers are great, they remove makeup so quick and easy. This doesn’t sting my eyes or irritate my skin and works great on waterproof makeup.
