I was looking for a nice place to stay near our house, as I was browsing through Traveloka's list, which was easy to use by-the-way, I stumbled upon B Hotel. They had a swimming pool, big rooms and a good buffet breakfast, ingredients for a pleasant overnight staycation.
I liked how simple yet elegant the hotel's room was, and it was also quite spacious, especially for just two people. There's plenty of room to add another bed, if you want to take another guest with you, The beds and chairs were also quite comfy, perfect for a staycation and lazing around in the room just binge watching your favorite movies or TV shows,
The room had the basics covered, cable TV, mini bar, coffee and complimentary water bottles.
For someone who works online, I liked how they had a long table, overhead lamp and chair in the room. These are small things that make a stay perfect for guests,
The shower and toilet area were spacious as well; I've stayed in similarly priced rooms where the toilet and shower area felt cramped, even for a short guy like myself.
I liked how roomy, modern and industrial the design and feel of the room is. I'd stay here again in the future.

The Facilities
The facilities of the hotel were just as impressive as the room we stayed in.
Some guests make their initial impressions about a hotel once they walk in the lobby. B Hotel will make a good one because of the modern design and spacious sections. Everything feels just right when you walk in, even if it is open space with no clear distinctions or barriers as to which part is the dining area and which one is the front desk. The fluid design forms different parts into a cohesive whole.
If you're looking for a good staycation accommodation in the city, look for one with a pool. B Hotel has a big enough pool to do laps in and not just wade in the water. I did a few laps to get some exercise and just chilled for a while as well.
The gym is small and only had the basics, I wasn't able to use it, but for those who want to keep working out during their staycation, they can exercise here.
We only ate buffet breakfast during our overnight stay at B Hotel. I was expecting more out of the breakfast buffet. There wasn't a lot of choices, but was enough, maybe my expectations were a bit too high.
The dining area was big and well laid out; there's enough room to move around. It doesn't feel cramped, it helped that the windows were big enough to let natural light in during the day. I liked the unique appearance of the hanging lights and the simple yet beautiful design of the dining area.

The hotel staff were friendly throughout, from check-in to check-out. They were attentive to our needs and were responsive to our queries.

Yes! You get good value for money for the price you pay for, it ticks off the basics for a good staycation in Metro Manila.
