My Everyday Face: The Essentials

By Bbeautylove @bbeautylove

I thought I would do a little post to show you different ways to wear different make up trends during the day. From soft smokey eyes to colour pop lips I am going to show you how I make these looks work for me on a day to day basis, but I like to start simple so this post is as basic as it gets.

My Everyday Face: The Essentials is the bare minimum make up that I wear. This look is what I would wear when I am working from home or having a lazy day hanging around the house or running errands. It takes no time at all and means you can look good without too much effort.

I use a lightweight base with reasonably good coverage, in this case my favourite BB Cream from Rimmel in Light (see post). This is a perfect colour match for me and gives good coverage whilst evening out my skintone. On top of this I use my Bobbi Brown Corrective Spot Treatment in Light Peach (see post) which is great for covering any blemishes, dark marks and redness. I also love it under the eyes as a brightening concealer and this works great alone under the eyes on lazy days. Top this off with the most amazing mascara from Max Factor (see post). Their Clump Defy mascara is one of the best I have ever tried and it makes lashes super long, defined and curled. Lush! To add some colour I usually reach for my Clarins Eclat Face Palette (see post) which gives a subtle flush of colour whilst also warming up my complexion. Finally, we need something on the lips. For colour and hydration in one, look no further than this Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart. Hot pink, but in a softer hue for daytime.

Et Voila!
