I think a dress is one of wardrobe essentials.
It comes to rescue when you do not know what to wear and are lack of time.
Indeed, a dress already combines a top and a skirt that are really perfect for
each other. Not to mention that a dress is created to highlight femininity and
attractive curves of your body. The question is what a minimal number of dresses
should hang in your wardrobe to be helpful in different occasions and at the
same time not to occupy all space in it? Below is my essential set of dresses
that has not ever failed me when inspiration is gone.
A classic dress is a must-have. It is often associated with a famous ‘little black dress’. Many fashion observers believe that no women’s wardrobe is complete without this simple item brought in by genius Coco Chanel. Indeed, there are shed loads of looks to be created with LBD and express you style. A business lady wears it with a jacket and pumps in the office. A college girl may complement it with cool sneakers and a bomber for daily life. And of course that is irreplaceable in case your social life is rather intensive and you often go to cocktail parties. A simple dress is a neutral dress for my casual life. Unlike a classic dress it is of a light gray color. The model is quite simple and freely combines with the rest of my essential wardrobe and shoes. It is like the canvas which I can adorn with bright accessories. It is my go-to item of clothes when I am not tuned into prinking myself up. Choosing a simple and stylish dress can a challenge for those who prefer following all fashion trends. Though, modest dresses for women are of great use and can be easily found. The main secret here is to choose the right dress model that suits best your body type. It may be A-silhouette, sheath dress, maxi dress or a roll-neck dress. Besides, try to avoid any decorative details. Only then a dress could be versatile and multifunctional. A formal dress stands alone in my wardrobe. On one hand, some festive events happen not so often, on other hand, it is so important to look gorgeous and fascinating at celebration. In my opinion, it is better to invest time and efforts to find your perfect formal dress which style will not be out of fashion over the next seasons, fit you well and make your feel unique.
