My Emmy Ballot: Supporting Actor & Supporting Actress (Comedy)
N.B. These ballots are based on the official submissions and follow the Emmy rules for nominations (i.e. 10 for Programs, 6 for Actors and 5 for Casting). All ballots are in ranked order, with winners in bold.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A COMEDY SERIES

In all honesty, this category was all set to be a three-peat for Max Greenfield, but the Emmy ballot had other plans. Here's who ended up taking this win instead...
My Emmy Ballot: Supporting Actor & Supporting Actress (Comedy)
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Modern Family (for "The Cold")
Adam Driver, Girls (for "Sit-In")
Lamorne Morris, New Girl (for "Spiderhunt")
Taran Killam, Saturday Night Live (for "Host: Jim Carrey")
Fred Armisen, Portlandia (for "Doug Becomes a Feminist")
Kenan Thompson, Saturday Night Live (for "Host: Louis C.K.")
Honorable Mention: Max Greenfield, New Girl
As Mitchell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson brings such a fun energy to "Modern Family" that it's a wonder that he hasn't won an Emmy yet. Well this year, I decided to right that wrong in my personal awards at least. In choosing him as my winner this year, I kept coming back to "The Cold", which exemplifies what I love about the character/performance. It's one of those episodes where he's put in awkward situations with little children, inevitably being mean to them. For a show as safe and formulaic as this one, I always get a kick out of this slyly subversive mean streak, which seems attributed more to the actor than the character himself. It's enough to make you wish "Modern Family" was on cable instead.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A COMEDY SERIES

For this category, 3 shows in particular dominated the lineup...
My Emmy Ballot: Supporting Actor & Supporting Actress (Comedy)
Aidy Bryant, Saturday Night Live (for "Host: Chris Pratt")
Ariel Winter, Modern Family (for "Do Not Push")
Julie Bowen, Modern Family (for "Connection Lost")
Gaby Hoffmann, Transparent (for "Rollin")
Judith Light, Transparent (for "Looking Up")
Kate McKinnon, Saturday Night Live (for "Host: Chris Hemsworth")
It's no secret that Aidy Bryant doesn’t get as much spotlight as fellow cast member Kate McKinnon, the breakout star of SNL's current crop of actors. However, Bryant has proven herself time and time again, putting in hilarious work when she gets material worthy of her talent. it. She’s one of the most naturally funny actors in the cast and when she’s in top form, no one else makes me laugh harder. Check out the bawdy hilarity of her "Big Fat Ass!" parody in the Chris Pratt episode and you'll see what I mean. She's so fearless. Most would consider McKinnon the MVP of the SNL ladies, but in my opinion, Bryant is just as great.
