My Current Skin Care Routine: The Secret to My (Clear) Skin!

Have I ever showed what my skin care routine looks like on the blog (I thought to myself)?

I thought & thought & thought and I was like - umm, I actually never did then what was it ~ it was time to show you all my skin care routine (of course, current as it keeps changing often, Life of A Beauty Blogger ), also this is one of my most requested posts as I keep getting lots of mails and messages to show my skin care routine and what I use on a daily basis so here it is!

Vichy Purete Thermale 3 In 1 One Step Cleanser (Price Rs. 650)

I get doomed by the fact that I will have to use the same cleanser until it finishes off ( BOREDOM, A Phase!) But I didn't get this feeling with this cleanser and before I could even think ~ it's gonna finish soon, woosh it finishes off like a mini sized sample face wash and I could feel this as I was out of face washes/cleansers in mys stash :D This cleanser is PURE LOVE like literally, I L-O-B it ❤! I want to use it for inifinity, have planned to restock it again & again until I get the same feeling of Boredom with it! It's just perfect for my dry skin ~ it's soothing, moisturizing, cleansing yet not rips my skin off moisture!

Sephora Instant Refreshing Toner (Price Rs. 720)

This toner is pure BLISS! It distributes a soothing, refreshing and moisturizing flow of mist on my face and just takes me (my skin) to a different world. And I mean it, ain't no joke here! It smells heavenly and I'm pretty happy including this to my skin care routine!

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Eye Repair Cream (Price Rs. 500-600)

I don't know if it does anything for the wrinkles/fine lines as I don't have them (as of now) but I love using it as it's got Retinol & Hyaluronic Acid, great anti aging and a plumping ingredient(s). I usually apply eye cream all over my lids and that includes both under and over my eyes. [Current Status of Mind: I want to try the complete wrinkle repair range of #Neutrogena (everything in it) and see what magic it does to my skin if any!]

Avene D-Pigment Dark Spot Corrector (Price 1450)

Yes, I have spots and I'd always have one or two products that targets at spots (in my routine) and keeps my new spots under check. So current spot correcting treatment which I'm using is Avene D-Pigment Dark Spot Corrector and it's pretty decent, doesn't do much for old scars but yeah, keeps the new ones under check! So if you are worried, you might breakout (which can happen at any point and anytime in your life) and that it will leave a horrible sign of its appearance (a dark spot), I'd suggest you to include a dark spot correcting cream in your routine and treat the marks before they become permanent.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock (Price Rs. 499)

So as I say, never ever forget your sunscreen ~ hence, my skin care routine will always be having a sunscreen no matter how short of time I am! I won't say it's a love at first sight product (as my skin is dry) but I make it work for me somehow and it works good (except that it burns my eyes like hell and makes them sleepy if it gets in there)!

L'Orèal Hydra Fresh Night Mask-In Jelly (Price Rs. 599)

I love using night leave-in masks once in a while to break the monotony of using a boring night cream or a regular moisturizer during the night. So I decided to try this nigh leave-in-mask from L'Orèal which is like a liquidy gel which upon massaging absorbs into the skin, yes I massage it [I don't like that sticky gluey feeling on my face and specially not at night when I dig my face in the bed and sleep and of course, I can't stain my satin pillow case (my beloved beauty weapon for a sure shot to prevent early sings of wrinkles)]. It really doesn't do anything much for my skin but the feeling of using a night leave-in mask is probably ENOUGH for me, I didn't have any expectations from it and neither it does any MAGIC!

Maybelline Electro Pop Baby Lips ~ Pink Shock (Price Rs. 165)

And my last essential to complete my skin care routine is a dose of moisture on my lips! I have tons (tons & tons, I should probably show my collection of lip balms to you all, what say?) of lip balms but at the moment I'm USING & LOVING this! This lip balm makes my lips PINK (not naturally pink but pink with its tint) and I love that PINK on my lips!

So that's my Keep-It-Simple Current Skin Care Routine!

This is not my fixed routine and it keeps changing with the season (& my mood). If you liked seeing my routine, let me know, I'd do an updated routine as well!
