This past weekend my best girlfriends on a gorgeous sprinkle for our soon to be baby boy! I actually hadn't heard much about 'sprinkles' until a few years ago when a friend was having her second which was a different gender then their first. To be honest, Zach and I weren't sure if we really needed to have a sprinkle for our son because we had so many items from our baby shower that could carry over, despite us having a girl first.
After talking it over, we thought we might as update some items and enjoy the gracious gifts from friends and family. My best friend Kimberly held our sprinkle at our home and she never disappoints by being such a great hostess! Due to having a slight glucose intolerance from my Glucose Test a few weeks back, she provided delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy.
I opened up some amazing gifts from my girlfriends and sweet family members who shipped items all the way from my hometown in Chicago! It was so thoughtful and I came home gushing over all the adorable items our son has received to Zach. It's becoming more real everyday that he'll soon be here with us and we can't wait!I'm also excited because my Dad is coming down for the week to spend some time with us, help around the house with a few projects and enjoy some quality time to his granddaughter.
