My 5 favorite iPad apps!

My iPad is my best friend. I have the iPad Mini 2 and I use it all the time for everything from surfing pinterest to checking the news. Jared and I are always on our iPads and have found a few apps that everyone should have!
1. Pocket - I’ve been using pocket more and more with our road trip coming up. It’s fun to browse articles “pocket” them to read or show off later. The idea is that you have a  digital pocket that you’re shoving everything in until you’re ready to read it.

2. News360 - This app is one of the best. You can select topics that you like and it will show you current news an updates on the topics. We’ve been watching Cosmos a lot at our house, so it’s kind of fun to read all of the space articles that News360 drums up.

3. Evernote - This is particularly useful if you’re a writer to any extent, whether it’s writing on a blog or keeping a travel log. We have several notebooks set up that Jared and I use, such as house project we want to work on. I have my own notebook for blog topics and ideas and we also have a travel notebook that we’ve shared to friends going on trips with us. The best part is that you can share, multiple users can edit and you can use it on more than 1 screen i.e. iPad, laptop and phone.

4. Afterlight - This is a paid photo editing app ($.99) and it’s well worth 99 pennies. I love the filters and shapes in this app more than the others that I’ve used. It’s great for Instagram!

5. Posts - Great blogging app! I have been looking for a blogging app that is user friendly and easy for a long time. This one makes it easy to blog on the go, see all your comments, respond to comments and even formats your posts! I high suggest it!

Hopefully a few of those apps are new to you and you can download something new today other than the obvious great apps like instagram, pinterest, youtube, videos and whatever else!
What’s your favorite app?
