From Hearthstone Brewery in North Vancouver comes their "Mr Fungi Chaga Black Lager" a beer with Chaga Mushrooms. The beer pours a chestnut brown with a brown head. The aroma consists of earth, chocolate, mild roasted malts and biscuit malts. The flavour is of mild roasted malts, biscuit malts, chocolate, mild coffee, nuts and some earth. The alcohol content comes in at 4% with an IBU of 10. This is a really fun and tasty dark lager and comes in at a very sessionable ABV! Don't let the mushroom scare you if you don't like them as it does not taste like mushrooms.
