Mozilla Launches New Browser for Developers

Posted on the 11 November 2014 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

The new browser, dubbed “Firefox Developer Edition” offers lots of great easy-to-access tools for front-end developers, including improved Page Inspector, Style Editor, Web Console and a WebIDE that allows developers to deploy and debug Firefox OS apps directly in the browser.

“Developers often end up having to bounce between different platforms and browsers, which decreases productivity and causes frustration,” Dave Camp, Director of Developer Tools at Mozilla wrote on a blog post. “Firefox Developer Edition solves this problem by creating a focal point to streamline your development workflow.”

In addition to this big celebration gift, Mozilla also upgraded the consumer edition of Firefox with a new Forget button, which basically allows you to quickly erase all the browsing history, cookies, with a one-click button. Firefox has also added DuckDuckGo as an option in the quick search tab to let you search the web anonymously. Check out the video and hit that source link for more info.
