Evil Dead (2013)
Starring: Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Elizabeth Blackmore

Summary: Five friends head to a remote cabin, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads them to unwittingly summon up demons living in the nearby woods. The evil presence possesses them until only one is left to fight for survival. My Thoughts:Woah. Just woah. I really don't know what to really say about this! I went to the theater opening day and there was literally no one in this theater but my friend and I, which was a tad weird to me, like seriously. I really don't know what was wrong with these people. Then after like 10 to 15 minutes into the movie, some people show up. Wow. But anyways, I saw this movie and literally it was amazing.Horribly gross and disgusting, but amazing. I never saw the original, but I tend to stay away from some horror "classics" if you say because the cinematography tends to be...well bad. But that's not the movies fault, its just the time it was made in.  It wasn't scary at all. I could see other people getting scared from this movie, but I wasn't scared. It was just...gruesome and gory. That's what made it disturbing. There's a limit of gore that there should be in a movie and this movie took it past that limit. There was so much blood and arm ripping and such so if you don't like that. Then this isn't the movie for you.It wasn't the greatest movie, but better than the average horror movies. The effects and shots are what made it amazing for me. So if you're like me, then yes. Go watch it. There are many things I'm going to remember for a LONG TIME. image
I was putting my hands in front of my face and I don't do that normally, so that was really really  great. A horror movie doing their job. The characters were great, but you don't really care about the characters as much as you do on an emotional level, its a horror movie so whatever. Then I give a applause for the main girl, Jane Levy, she was amazing. Possessed and not possessed. She had the role down pact! Seriously. Shiloh Fernandez's character I expected more from, he wasn't a great role and I expected more from him. That's really all and also, ONE AND ALL WELCOME ME TO THE KARMALOOP REP PROGRAM.
