Movie Monday – Women Who Flirt by Pang Ho-cheung

By Vanessa Kay @blushinggeek

For this week’s Movie Monday, I decided to feature a Chinese-Hong Kong romantic comedy film, Women Who Flirt. I haven’t watched any Chinese films before unless you count those from Jackie Chan. I’m a kind of person that always prefer to things that I love (movies) and watch them over and over again or maybe stalk the director or the actors for some new movies to see next. You could say that I’m quite comfortable with my comfort zone but lately, I’ve been indulging myself to some Japanese films and anime that it got me into thinking that maybe it’s time for me to branch out and check out films from other neighboring countries as well. No Koreans please.

While I was scrolling my Facebook feed, I saw a funny part from this movie that totally got my attention. So I decided to check out its trailer in Youtube and my! Chinese rom-coms are quite hilarious and I’m definitely buying it!

So yep. I am currently scouting a copy of this movie and hopefully I could watch it this week.
