Moto G Teaser on Motorola Official Website

The smartphone is called Moto G, and it showed up on the official Motorola website this morning. What made us presume this device will be available outside the USA is the fact the company has been using a traveling theme for the teaser, as well as the announcement in different languages. Motorola Moto G is said to come with a 4.5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 329 ppi. It will be powered by a quad core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, most probably a S200, Cortex-A5, and will be driven by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Other specifications of the Moto G include front facing camera of 1.3 mega-pixels, and the rear camera of 5 mega-pixels. In addition, Motorola Moto G will include HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi, as well as a 1,950 mAh battery.

As we have learnt, this cheaper alternative of Moto X will be free on-contract when it launches, which will truly make it an economic version of Moto X. As for the off-contract pricing, it is said that Moto G will be priced at about $200-$250, but as this info has not been verified, we will have to wait for it until the official announcement, scheduled for November 13.
