Most Worn Summer Things TAG

By Behindtheseclosedeyes @theseclosedeyes
I'm sure most of you will have seen a few Youtubers doing this tag over the past few weeks and I thought why not have a go at it as a blog post instead. The Most Worn Summer Things tag basically does what it says on the tin and has 12 questions about most worn items in both beauty and fashion. Although it hasn't been a great summer here in Scotland so a lot of these products aren't the most summery but they have been keeping me going over the past few months and even saw sunshine in Turkey for a little while!
Most Worn Summer Things TAGEssie Van D'Go, Diesel Fuel for Life Summer Edition, Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo
1. Most worn nail polish: It's no secret that Essie Van D'Go has been my absolute favorite nail polish since I bought it back in February and over the summer it has been worn countless times. To me it is the perfect pinky peach and almost looks neon in some lights which is a lovely effect, especially when you have a bit of a tan. You can see a swatch of it here.
2. Most worn scent: My signature summer scent has to be Diesel's Fuel for Life Summer Edition EDP which has kept me going for 2 summers now. It is a gorgeous mix of floral and fruity notes and as a lover of the original Fuel for Life scent, I was so happy to see a lighter and more girly version available.  I also posted about this perfume here.
3. Most worn hair product: Having nicer weather and long hair in the summer makes me a bit lazy as I usually can't be bothered washing my hair every other day, so my most worn hair product has to be Batiste dry shampoo which keeps my second day hair looking fresh and saves a lot of hassle! My favorite scent definitely has to be Tropical as the coconut-y smell makes me think I'm away somewhere nice on holiday.
Most Worn Summer Things TAGFake Mulberry bag, Topshop Nude Vectras, Assorted Bracelets (Links of London, Matalan, Turkish stall)
4. Most worn bag: This Mulberry fake has been my most worn bag since my parents brought me it back from Turkey last year and it been great as the black makes it such a universal bag to wear. My guess is that it is based on the gorgeous Mini Alexa and I've even had had a few people ask if it was real so it's a great fake!
5. Most worn shoes: Without a doubt my most worn shoes are my nude Topshop Vectras and haven't seemed to leave my feet since they were bought a few months ago. They are the comfiest shoes I have ever worn and although they are now showing quite a bit of wear, they are still my go to shoes for just about any outfit. I think I will be nipping into Primark for their version of the studded slippers next because I just can't get enough.
6. Most worn accessories: I have been all about the bracelets this year and these 3 were always on my wrist this summer so they all had to be included. My Links of London Sweetie Bracelet is one of my most prized possessions as it was David's gift for my 18th and is worn every single day, the gold Matalan leaf bracelet was a great sale bargain which has been getting a lot of wear and the multi-coloured beaded bracelet was a Turkish market stall find that my parents brought home for me this year.
Most Worn Summer Things TAGPrimark vest top, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, Benefit Hervana Blush
7. Most worn clothing item: It's a bit of a boring one to include but my most worn item of clothing is this dark denim/off-purple coloured vest top from Primark. I just love the shape of it and the little pocket is a lovely detail which gives the top a bit more life, and it is great to wear on casual days with a pair of shorts or jeans, or with a pretty skirt when you need to be a bit more dressy. What's even better is that I found it on one of the sale rails for just £1 so it is a total bargain!
8. Most worn foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is making yet another appearance as it is still my most reached for foundation and a staple for the summer. Its light formula is great for the days when you don't want to feel like you are caked in makeup and the dewy finish gives skin such a natural glow. I also posted about the foundation here.
9. Most worn blush/bronzer: I had to go with a blusher as it has been a staple item in my summer makeup routine and my most reached for was Benefit's Hervana. It is the most natural looking blush I have come across and gives a very natural flush to the cheeks, especially great if you are like me and wear a lot less foundation in the summer. The mix of colours creates a lovely but subtle pink although you can concentrate on the individual shades for a more dramatic look.
Most Worn Summer Things TAGMUA Lipstick in Shade 15 Juicy, Natural Collection Mascara, MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork
10. Most worn lip product: MUA have to be commended for their fab an affordable lip products at just a pound a pop, and my most worn this summer has to be their lipstick in the shade Juicy (15). It is a great pinky peach lipstick which gives a lovely pop of color to the lips and is also quite moisturising so you don't need to worry about flaky lips. You can see a swatch here.
11. Most worn mascara: Again this was an easy one because it is my most worn mascara full stop, but it's Natural Collection's mascara and I've found each one in the range to be great quality and have provided the long and full looking lashes that I was searching for. It is a bargain at only £1.99 per tube and you can read more about it here.
12. Most worn eyeshadow: This was a tricky one as there have been so many eye products I have been alternating between this summer but I eventually went with MAC's Groundwork paint pot which  tecnically isn't an eyeshadow but has been great for a quick and easy neutral look all over the lid. It looks lovely on its own or can be used as a base for shadows to make sure that they stay put during the day. You can see a swatch here.
..so there you have it, my most worn things this summer! I had a lot of fun going through these questions and instead of tagging specific bloggers I just want to leave this open to absolutely everyone. If you take part in this tag then please leave me a link so I can have a read as there have been so many great product recommendations through people's answers to the tag.
