More Observations from the USA (Chicago Day 4-5)

By Gldmeier @gldmeier
more observations from the USA (Chicago): * it is great to be able to watch Cubs games at a normal hour of the day and not have to stay up until the wee hours of the night to catch a few innings or wake up extra early to catch a few. * I am still noticing the lack of birkat kohanim in davening. it almost feels like, what's the point of going to shul with no birkat kohanim? * people (general, not specific people) are far nicer and more helpful than I remember, and in Chicago they were always nice and helpful. And I am talking about even in the least expected situations - clerks and store employees who go the extra mile to be helpful. * food is great, family is great, everything is a lot of fun - especially as a visitor - but I am ready to go home.
