Welcome to our Moodboard Monday post again this week and we do hope you enjoy our Moodboards for ‘A Day at the Office’.
To take a look at the Moodboard I’ve created pop on over to the LISH Concepts blog – I was rather inspired by some girly glamour this week and even took myself out of my usual home interiors comfort zone. I had great fun on Polyvore too!
And so over to Mummylish from LISH Concepts to show us her Moodboard and tell us what inspired her this week.Think Green by lishconcepts featuring tops
This week’s theme “A day at the office’ is quite appropriate for me really as I’ve just started a new job and for the first time in a very long time I’m heading into the office every morning. The organisation I work for is a charity fundraising to help the sick and poor in developing countries like India, Niger and Mozambique. What I love most is the sense of satisfaction at working for such a just cause. Somewhere along these lines I was inspired to make a green / Eco office moodboard. Because let’s face it we go through stationery and paper at a ridiculous rate and it could be really helpful if we all remember to consider this lovely planet while we are in the office. Think Green people! So really all things in my board are chosen for their green value as well as being utterly gorgeous, apart from the satchel which is of course very green and very gorgeous but not actually Eco, still want one though!! The mood of this board is fun, fresh and natural showing you that Eco products can also be very hip. I just love love love Eco stationery and definitely suggest looking at the Korean brand Ecobridge as well as Paperways, a personal favorite of mine. Are you inspired to make a moodboard of your own following this week’s theme? Get those creative juices flowing, it is really fun and inspiringMoodboard Monday is a fortnightly feature where we create a moodboard inspired by a certain theme. I will be featuring Mummylish’s moodboards on Love Chic Living and she will be featuring mine over at LISH Concepts! But that’s not all…. Moodboard Monday is also open to you! So if you are feeling inspired by this weeks offerings why not check out the theme for next week and play along. You can create your Moodboard any way you like, with an actual magazine collage scanned in or photographed or using the computer ie. photoshop, picmonkey, olioboard or Polyvore. You may want to focus on interiors one week and fashion the next, you may want to use your own photography – anything goes, feel free! If you would like some ideas about how to create your moodboards check out the LISH tutorial on How to create the perfect moodboard. The only rule is you need to use the week’s theme as a guideline (but as you see they can often be interpreted very differently!) and pop back the following Monday, grab the button from over in the sidebar and link up your creation via the comments!
And so finally, the theme for next time is:
