As much as I love wearing colors in winter, an occasional rendezvous with neutrals doesn't hurt either. Winter is essentially a high on neutrals season, and wearing a neutral-rich outfit need not be boring. A proper mix of textures and prints can take any look from dear to winter-fab.
Picking out at least two colors will give you a wider color palette to work with. Incorporating patterns and textures in colors from within that palette will add all the more interest to your look. In my case the stripe shirt and the thick knit cardigan are those pieces.
Fur and leather happen to be another effortless way to make a winter neutral outfit fun.
