Spring is the perfect time to flash all your light sleeveless layers, like your cute cardigans and this fuzzy-wuzzy vest that I am wearing. I am personally not into cardigans, so I would rather stalk up on some cute fuzzy babies. Okay Okay, I get it... you now would like to know "how to wear fur in spring without looking like a snowzilla???" Well you guys are in luck today. Stay tuned as the technicality follows...
Wearing spring in fur needs less heed than you can imagine, just remember the following rules and your fur is all set for spring..
- DON'T GO OVERBOARD - when wearing fur, choose one statement piece. A fur vest, or a clothing/footwear item with fur accents, or a thin fur stole that you could hang on one side or even a fur bag charm, choose only one piece at a time. Wearing too many pieces will make you look like a snowzilla for sure.
- CHOOSE PASTEL/NEUTRAL COLORS - spring is all about pastels and soft shades and your outfit should be reflective of this transition. Steer away from super bright colors, as they just look tacky. Go for neutrals and blush tones. They make you look chic.
- EASY LAYERS- when I say easy layers, I totally imply button front options. The fur vest like mine is so much easier to remove in case it gets too hot. A zipper front is doable too. If you think you will be cold in a vest, add a cardigan or a full sleeve blouse underneath for that extra layer of warmth. P.S- Keep all your extra warm fur boots locked, you don't want them loose by any chance.
- ADD SPRING DETAILS- nothing speaks more spring to me than a pair of shooties aka open-toe booties. Adding spring approved pieces with textures and details will not only make your fur piece count, but also make you feel bad ass trendy.
