Middle of the Week Update

I finally found the picture of the finished design! Now you can see what I mean when I’m making minimal progress on this design. Isn’t it sad? Trust me…it is.

It’s funny how having so little time to yourself really makes you resort your priorities so the things that are the most important to you.  For some reason I’ve decided that this blog is important to me.  No matter how busy the week I always find time to get my blogs written.  I might be about 5 books behind on my reviews, but I schedule them ahead of time and always make sure I’ve got something to share with you on Fridays.

When I started this blog I did it because I thought it would just be fun.  Then I did it because I thought it would be a neat way to connect with other cross-stitch lovers.  Then, I don’t know.  It’s just sort of became something else.

I’m not really sure what I want this blog to turn into next, but whatever it is it’s become important to me and I want to stick to it for awhile.

I’m not really sure where that came from…I guess being stressed leads to a wandering mind.  Anyway, speaking of not having any time….

Here’s my minimal progress on the stitching for the week!

managed to get almost a full column done.

managed to get almost a full column done.

Managed to get another column almost finished.  It’s coming together slowly.  I just want to get to the actual pattern.  I guess I have to come to terms with not finishing this project as quickly as I’d hoped to.  I wanted to be done with the top section of sky by now and I still have a page and third to go.  I guess that’s better than nothing…

I’m hoping the the second half of this week will go better than the first half.  Just a lot of sorting things out and trying to get enough done that I have time to not worry about getting things done.  It’s like a constant game of catch up.  Hope you’re all having more luck on your projects than I am!
