Middle of the Week Update

By Crossstitchyourheart @TMNienaber

Hello fellow bloggers!  We’ve finally made it to the middle of the week. I’m keeping my post short and sweet because we all have things to do and places to be and my progress on the stitching project has been so minimal I’m a little ashamed.

I still love how all the dark colors are blending together to create a vivid sky.  It really does look more detailed than any of the patterns I’ve worked on before.  And it’s all coming together without a lot of pulled stitches or holes so the black/blue sky totally covers the cloth.  Which also adds an element of detail.  I’m hoping to make more progress during the second half of this week.  But I’m trying to work ahead so I have more long-term free time so that might not be a possibility.  Oh well.  I tried.

Still reading “The Paris Wife” but not much to report on that front either.

The full-time teaching job is going well (if it’s a little much with the part time job too).  I’ve only had problems with one of my classes and even then it’s nothing to bad (I’ve only cried once…and outside of class…but from what the other teachers have told me that’s very, very normal for us new teachers so I don’t feel quite so bad).  Even with all the stress and struggles I still love teaching.  I was worried things would be a lot different now that I’m the only adult in the classroom and while it is different (and a lot of work not really related with teaching) and I’m still struggling to  perfect my classroom management style, but I’m still enjoying what I do and glad I chose this for my career.

Now, if only I could find a job… That’s the tough part.  Keep sending me any luck and prayers you can spare!

Good luck getting through the week!
