Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Is 1080p On PS4, Will Push For 60fps, No Comment On X1 Version Yet
Shadow of Mordor is easily one of my most anticipated games of the year, and the devs have finally given some details on how the game will run on each platform.
Given that the game is coming out on PS4 and Xbox One, can players expect the game to run at 1080p/60fps on both consoles? It certainly seems the case for the PS4 version.
“It’s definitely 1080p and we are going to do everything we can to get to 60 frames per second, ” Monolith’s Studio Head Kevin Stephens said in a 2 hour long live stream of the game conducted by TwinGalaxies.
When asked about the Xbox One version, the developers simply had no comment.    Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is due for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on October 7th.
