I must just pay homage to the black and gold contrast which has become my favorite contrast of all-time. These Zara slides are a pretty good dupe for the more pricey neoprene and gold plate pair by Chloé, and after featuring them in my last wish list, it was just my luck that a certain someone was selling these brand new over on eBay. I read an article a few weeks back about the slide hype and how never mind the fact that they slip off your feet and that they are a throwback to those times when your sitting by the pool sunbathing to the sound of pool slides in the background slapping the soles of passing feet. Not only that, but they are so reminiscent of my father, who owned a pair of the monochrome Adidas slides and if they were four sizes smaller they'd be on my feet right now.
