We had our huge Baseball Banquet last night and since I NEEDED to meet Mickey Rivers, I couldn't watch too much TV at all. Who are we kidding, there wasn't anything to watch anyway. Mickey Rivers is OF course the right move. I'm hoping some of you know who Mickey Rivers is. 10 extra points if you do. For the record, he was super cool.

The Astronaut Wives Club This was the only thing I did watch. The only reason I wanted to see this one at all was because Wade from Hart of Dixie was supposed to be in it. He was, but barely and his shirt was on for the 60 seconds he was on the screen. As the title indicates, the show focuses on the wives of all of the U.S. astronauts during the late 50's and early 60's as space exploration was just getting underway. Sure it's fun to see the clothes, the hair, the cars, the luggage and the rotary phones of the time, but, I wasn't THAT interested in any of the women's stories. Life Magazine was covering the men and the women along their journey to the moon. There were a lot of familiar faces in addition to Wade. Nick Swisher's wife Joanna, Charlotte's husband from Sex and the City, the guy from Reaper and V, and the girl from October Road and Brothers and Sisters. Most of the couples have secrets of some kind, but none of their secrets were that shocking or interesting. Cheaters, stutterers, super smart, super dumb, manipulators, divorces. This one didn't do anything for me at all. If it goes up against Big Brother, I'm not even going to bother.
THE OTHER STUFF

-Last night on Fallon, Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell played a game with Jimmy that was worth watching mainly because Colin's hot and I'm pretty sure Vince got some hair implants that are amazing. Check it out: http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/segments/135191

-I love James Corden ESPECIALLY when he does Car Karaoke. This trip features Iggy Azalea. Leave it to James to continue to keep the skit fresh, check it out:

Friday's Trivia Question:  I have 2 favorite TV Dads. One is Julie and Gracie's Dad and one is Sarah, Adam, Crosby & Julia's Dad. Name the shows and the Dad's and the actors that played them for bonus points.
