Taken during my visit to the 2011 Andrews AFB Joint Services Open House, this Strike Eagle is making a high speed pass and starting to pull vapor on the leading edge of the wing. Introduced in 1988 the F-15E is expected to serve until 2025. The Strike Eagle is easily distinguished from other Eagles with conformal fuel tanks and darker camouflage.
