Maybelline Dream matte mousse

Maybelline Dream matte mousse is my corrent favorite foundation. There are mixed reviews about this foundation. Some absolutely hates this foundation and some are in love with it.This is a dream foundation for me!Many have complaints that it leaves a white cast behind. This is not at all a problem with me as it doesn't leaves any white cast because of the way I apply it on my skin.So get ready to read my detailed review on the product.

What it claims?Revolutionary air-soft mousse provides perfecting coverage for 100% velvet-matte perfectionIdeal for normal to oily skinFragrance-free, dermatologist-tested, allergy-tested, non-comedogenic – won’t clog pores, safe for sensitive skinPrice Rs.600 for 18g.My experience with it.It comes in a heavy glass container. It has a wide mouth and its cap is made up of plastic.Though the packaging is not so good,I'm happy with quantity. It'll last me about seven months I guess. Its consistency is mud like.I need to be sure that I do not take out too much of product. The trick is to dab three fingers on the foundation and the dab it on different parts of my face.I be sure not to apply too much of it on my face.I always hydrate my face with a hydrating gel before using this as it makes the flaky parts more prominent. The I take my foundation brush and swirl it on my face in circular and anti-circular motion until it blends properly(Read my review on the foundation brush here). This gives me the best coverage and even skin tone ever.At last I spray some water on my face and after a minute when the water dries I do rest of my makeup.I got this in the shade Classic Ivory(Light 2).The shade perfectly suits my skin tone after I apply it properly. If anyone feels that dabbing fingers on the foundation is very unhygienic, then one can always swirl brush on it lightly and then spread it on face. The foundation stays on really long and keeps my face matte throughout the day, except my forehead but I can easily fix that with a few dabs of tissue paper. It has never caused me any pimple or made me sweat extra. The foundation covers up any marks very well and gives a smooth finish. This foundation is definitely not for dry skin.Even people with oily skin or combination skin should use a hydrating gel or zero oil moisturizer before using this.I hope you liked my review. Please comment whether you have tried it yet and whether u love it or hate it.I would love to read your comments and reply back to you. Thanks for reading! If you want to give this foundation a try then you can buy it HERE.
