Maybelline Colorshow Lipstick- Burgundy Blend & Fuchsia FlareThey say when feeling dull and tired (like I've been feeling lately) put on a bold lipstick and it'll instantly make you feel fresh. Trust me it does!
When I'm at home and feel like I'm looking very tired, I put on a bold lipstick (no makeup though) and I instantly feel better. And these two bold lip colors always makes me feel better!

Product Description:

Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is a fashionable intense lipstick, which comes in chic to vivid shades. Maybelline Color Show Lipstick is highly pigmented giving bold lips. It stays for up to four to five hours. The creamy texture is not heavy on the lips. It does not smear or smudge. It does not settle in line. As its highly moisturised you don't need to wear a lip balm.

Price: Rs 299 for 3.9gm

Texture: The lipsticks have a smooth creamy texture and glide easily like a buttery formula. They don't set in fine lines coz of their super creamy texture.

Finish: The lipsticks have a creamy finish and tend to slip outside of lips and bleed! The lipsticks have such creamy finish that the shade burgundy blend got melt (when it's not even fully summers yet) and the bullet broke from the middle *sigh* and I don't like ugly looking lipsticks

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is great, on one swipe the color pay off is opaque and keeps getting dark on every single swipe. Both the shades Burgundy Blend & Fuchsia Flare are very well pigmented and gives opaque coverage on a single swipe.

Staying Power: Both the shades stay put for 4-5 hours and last a small meal unless you are a crazy eater and tend to eat with your lips

But beware it can stain your cup, spoon or whatever you touch your lips with even your boy's lips

so *beware* The shade burgundy blend settles as a light maroon tint even after 6-7 hours fading only from the centre of the lips. It doesn't get removed on its own, you have to remove it by wiping it off with a makeup remover.

Burgundy Blend is a maroon red shade with hints of brown to it. It looks chocolate brown in the bullet but it's not pure brown and looks a lot like maroon red shade when applied, like brick-red. The shade would look good on most Indian skin tones and can be worn with both smokey and nude eyes. For a subtle look, it can be worn with nude eyes and for a bold look with smokey or dark eyes. This shade really perks up my complexion and I look like a doll in this shade- my mum says this not me ;)

Fuchsia Flare is a bright pink shade and would suit only brighter skin tones. The shade is really pretty and those who love pinks over reds would definitely find this shade beautiful.

I would rate this range and both these lipsticks 4.5/5 and can't really complain on anything except that it's too creamy and tends to bleed so use of lip liner is a must while using these lippies! I would love to try more shades from this range.

Sorry for updating blog once in 2-3 weeks, you all must know how exhausted I feel nowadays and that I don't find much time for myself now- no makeup, no outing, nothing (though I manged to take some pics for this shoot)! But now I'm trying to manage my time and adjusting to a routine so finally I can take out some time for blogging as well.
