MASTER // The Bath

Last week, Irene posted this bathroom by designer Betsy Burham, and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. It incorporates so many of my favorite elements in a bathroom:

CARRERA MARBLE + CHANDELIER + TRADITIONAL RUG
(and maybe a fancy chair, or fiddle leaf fig, or ornate mirror….)

More:

Regina Garcia bathroom carerra marble chandelier

Christiane Lemieux bathroom carrera marble rug

Nathan Egan bahtroom carrera marble chandelier brass

Marta Torelló bathroom ornate black gold mirrors

It got me really thinking about doing something with our master bath, which we haven’t touched (five years later!). We’re not going to go into a full remodel to add carrera marble per se, but at least we have a white base to start. Thinking of adding a few more of my favorite elements, for an easy update:

small shop: master the bath, lucite gold colorful rug brass

Large gold mirror (similar), $128.07  // Lucite hoop chandelier (still lusting!), $1695 // Diptyque Baies candle (the best!), $28 // Lucite knobs (to add to our existing tract home cabinets), $5.94 ea. // Vintage upholstered brass stool (from a new fave Etsy shop!), $78 // White chevron towels, $11.98+ // Multicolor wool rug, $498+

I am torn between going with a traditional colorway for the rug, or something bright and cheery like above. What do you think?
