If you’re a regular reader of the blog, you would know just how much I love beauty subscription boxes, so you can imagine just how excited I was when the Maslow & Co. beauty box arrived at my doorstep!
Maslow & Co. are one of the latest beauty subscription services to launch in Australia. Offering bi-monthly boxes at $58.00 (min $120 value), each box comes with a minimum of 6 products from ‘elite brands’. There’s no need to worry if you’re like me and aren’t a fan of sachet samples because Maslow & Co. promise to only include luxury sample sized and full sized products only!
Every 2 months, the new box focuses on an exciting international destination with the products included in the box, sourced from that country! Past collections include New Zealand, The UK and Australia.
The first part of their USA series focused on the West Coast, a trip through the state of California and the luxe beauty it offers. Included was:
- Milani Baked Blush in Corallina
- Fig & Yarrow Complexion Water in 1 of 2 blends
- Fig & Yarrow Clay Mask in 1 of 3 formulas
- Marula Foaming Cleansing Oil
- Earth’s Nectar Mint Leaves Scalp Oil
- Garrett Markenson Milk Hair Treatment
The box, which is trackable when posted, came beautifully packaged with the products wrapped up safe, alongside an information booklet with all you need to know about the included products. I really am impressed with the idea and execution of these boxes! Having a different focus country for each box ensures the subscribers are provided and exposed to so many different brands they may not have tried or heard of before, as many are hard to find here in Australia. The range and quality of the brands and products included is fabulous, with the products being suitable for basically all subscribers.
I would definitely say the size of the products are more than just luxury sized, they’re generous and perfect to use at home or while you’re away. Personally, I had never tried any of the brands included in this box so it was exciting to give it all a go and the standouts for me were the Milani Baked Blush, Earth’s Nectar Mint Leaves Scalp Oil and Fig & Yarrow Complexion Water! The variety of products included in this box covered makeup, skincare and hair care, though as a makeup lover, I would’ve loved to see one more piece of makeup included!
The final box of the USA series focuses on the East Coast, ‘where makeup is as dynamic and fast paced as the city itself. This box edit will be admired by the fuss-free, low maintenance, girl boss. Who demands her makeup and beauty products keep up with her schedule.’ Be quick to snap this one up before the end of the month! Maslow & Co. offers a number of different subscriptions, from a one off box to an annual as well the opportunity to purchase any of the products included in the boxes.
If you’ve been umming and aahing about signing up to a beauty box service, I would highly recommend looking into Maslow & Co.! While the cost of each box may be higher than others on the market, the box is bi-monthly and the value, quality of the brands and products included goes beyond that of their competitors!
