After some impressive collaborations, Marc Houle presents his first solo EP ‘Fusion Pop’ on the Items & Things label since 2012.
Fusion Pop is a four track EP with two original cuts and two remixes: one from Magda, the other from label artist NYMA.
I have been a fan of Marc Houle’s music since listening to his ‘Bay Of Figs’ album released in 2006 which we can also highly recommend. True to form, this release also offers an amalgamation of warped sounds including haunting synth lines, jagged bass-lines, eerie vocals and bouncing leads.
For the dance floor Magda uses her skills to take things up a notch for her ‘Lost in Mezcal Mix’ while NYMA provides a slice of dance floor eccentricity with his ‘Confusion Mix’. Take a listen to the preview now on SoundCloud:
