So, the long awaited return of the young phenom should be happening pretty soon, barring rain. It’s a big day in Baltimore because we all know this guy holds the keys to the future of this club. Not Crush Davis, not Adam Jones and not the young arms. Machado is, up until this point, the real deal all over the field. He hits, he fields, he’s personable and he’s still very young (and inexpensive!). I even wrote last year that he may be better than Trout and Harper. Not sure about the Trout thing, because that guy isn’t human, but Machado deserves to be in the discussion.
Welcome back Manny and for your sake I hope you do well. God forbid you struggle out of the gate and depressed O’s fans start calling for your head.
