Man Up!: Miu Miu A/W12-13

What a difference a year makes! Last fall collection Miu Miu gave us a very feminine line which I immediately fell in love with specially for its famous glittery shoe line and romantic clutches and handbags but this year's winter collection was remarkably the opposite. A very masculine line walked the runway and renowned models like Coco Rocha showed us how a woman can still be feminine wearing such a menswear inspired collection. I still don't know if I should hate or love the first part of the shoe line but as the show continues and the heel's platform becomes taller my confusion disappears. The cropped flared trousers, the prints, the side-burned look, the mid-caped jackets, the chunky embelishments and the 70's platform shoes were the main star of this year's Miu Miu collection.
