Making Homemade Vintage BaublesFun for the whole family!

Making Homemade Vintage BaublesMaking your own Christmas decorations is simple and easy but most importantly it's a great way to add your personal touch to Christmas celebrations.  Its also a great way to get the kids involved and busy during the school holidays.  Makes a great memento!!!
All you need is old baubles, clear craft glue, old book pages, scissors and string!
Making Homemade Vintage BaublesStep 1:
Remove the clip at the top of the bauble and keep somewhere safe.
Step 2:Cup up the old book pages into rough patches of all different sizes.Making Homemade Vintage Baubles
Step 3:Have some craft glue in a bowl with a paint brush ready for making.
Step 4:Making Homemade Vintage BaublesLets get started.  Paint the paper piece generously with glue till its almost soggy, then mold onto the bauble.  You may need to paint the whole bauble with glue over the paper to keep all the edges down.  Continue this until the whole bauble is covered.  If you like you can them roll the bauble into some glitter for that extra Sparkle!Step 5:Leave to dry. Takes approx 30min to dry.Making Homemade Vintage BaublesStep 6:Return the clip removed from the bauble before craft making and tie some string ready for hanging.
These decorations also make for great centerpiece decorations.  You can place them in a clear bowl or jar and they look fab!
Hope you enjoy making these crafty decorations. My children had a ball and they look at them on the tree everyday with smiles saying "mummy we made those!"
Merry Christmas and may God Bless from the team at Sparklebox!
