Making a Game Out of Visiting Macau …

Applying the game-play elements of bingo to make the most of a Macau vacation!

If you’re in any way fascinated by the casino industry, you’ll no doubt know that Macau in South East China is famous the world over as the supposed casino capital’ of Asia!

Naturally, a huge chunk of Macau’s tourism industry is made up of excited new comers or keen punters looking to soak up the bright lights, glitz, and glamour of the gaming nightlife, but it’s not the only holiday experience that curious travelers can take part in. With so much up for grabs, you could actually make a ‘game’ out of visiting each casino; and this is where “travel bingo” comes in.

Stay with me here…. this is a game that is essentially a modified ‘activity tracker’ which uses bingo’s game-playing mechanics. It’s a well known fact that many of us visiting foreign places often end up not having enough time to take up everything the place has to offer. Truth be known most of you probably end up going to just a couple of locations that catch your eye.

Travel bingo solves this – firstly with a plan of attack!

1. Setting up a “plan of attack” via the grids on a modified bingo card which outlines all of the places you can visit.

In other words, it lets you choose a “bingo line” of locations and activities and compels you to stick to that line until you complete it.

2. Upon completion of a line, you are of course rewarded for your achievement. What that reward is? Well that’s up to you.

The point of it is that for travelers who tend to lose their wanderlust in the middle of their journey, having a reward as an incentive might just spur them on to visit as many places as possible (with no regrets)!

For travelers, Bingo is more of an enjoyable activity than a competitive one and it’s the fun aspect of it that bingo companies emphasize as their selling point.

Not only does online gaming site foxybingo centre its commercials around their mascot Foxy getting his groove on and bringing a party atmosphere wherever he goes, the company actually brings these parties to life with things like a Foxy Bingo Cruise, or the recent VIP Super League Party.

It’s this spirit of fun that travel bingo adds to your vacation frivolities. Your bingo line can be anything from a string of hotels – like the Venetian to the Sheraton and the Galaxy – if hotel hopping is your thing. Or it could be a combination of things, like visiting the Sao Paulo Cathedral, swimming in the Cheoc Van and simply sampling one of Macau’s famed (not to mention, oh so heavenly) Portuguese egg tarts.

And once a line is completed, guess what? That’s when you get to reward yourself with a memorable night of gaming at the Grand Lisboa!

None of these holiday stopovers should seem too much or too little – at least, they shouldn’t be with travel bingo’s help, I’m told!

Who wants to leave with the feeling they didn’t quite get the full experience of their holiday destination?
