Make Your Mark in Color

Make your Mark in Color

Cheryl Boglioli here for my last post as a Guest Designer for Design Memory Craft.  I have truly enjoyed the opportunity to work with Design Memory Craft Faber-Castell products and then share my projects here with you.

For my last Guest Designer post, I wanted to play with as many-colored markers as I could and I wanted to create a quote to put on my desk.  This is what I came up with and it reads, “Life is not a straight line.  Make your mark in color.  Embrace the ink splatters.  Leave the Eraser behind”.  It’s my own original quote with a little input from my dear hubby.

Make your Mark in Color

I started with a 5×7 frame with a mat for a 3.5 x 5.5 opening.  I cut a piece of watercolor paper to 5×7 and sketched the inside frame marks and my quote in pencil.

I pulled out all of my Design Memory Craft Faber-Castell Stamper’s Big Brush Pens and PITT Artist Pens in a variety of colors to color in and doodle the quote.  A white vinyl eraser did erase all the pencil lines.  And yes, I used an eraser, even though my quote says to leave it behind.  I hope you enjoyed my projects.   Thank you all for your comments and a huge THANK YOU to Design Memory Craft.  I look forward to working with you again in the future and I will continue to work with your products in my studio.
