Maggie Holmes Design Team : Love You Packaging

Valentine's Day is around the corner and it's time to honor my awesome hubby! Truly appreciate the LOVE my hubby has been showering me all these years! Knowing me, I'll have to make it all pretty because that surely puts a smile on his face. I love that he appreciates good packaging & design too! He is really made for me. I thank God for him everyday. 
As always, I will spend some time to look at the products & see what I can create with them. This patterned paper Be Happy started the idea of creating a heart fringe. It was really easy to make one too! To wrap the box, I used My Darling paper. The plus designs go really well against the pretty colours. 
For my heart, I alternated between patterned paper and crepe for the extra fun texture! I didn't want to just leave the heart as it is, so I decided to add flowers. 
Just by layering papers, stickers & ephemera shapes, that will help a lot with the textures and dimensions on the gift packaging. And of course, layering your elements together will create the full look to your project!
