Maggie Holmes Design Team : Hello Love

By Jcchris
Hello again! So glad to be back here to share with you a layout that I created of my newborn. We are truly blessed having her into our family and can't wait to create more memories together with her.As always, let me share with you the creative process of my layout.
First and foremost, I'll go through the collections and picked the papers & embellishments to ensure these two collections match. I really love the fact that all Maggie's old & new collections match very well with each other. Isn't that awesome? Once I'm done with all the picking and matching, I allowed the products to "speak" to me. I don't really have any designs planned in my head but just go with the flow. I'll always placed the photo down and slowly add on the embellishments around the photo.

During the process, I'll reposition the embellishments until I'm happy with them. I always love to layer the embellishments as they gave amazing dimension to my layout. Once I'm done with them,  it looked pretty empty with just the layered embellishments in the middle. There's when I browsed thru the patterned papers. After I chose my paper, I cut & adhered triangle-shaped papers at the left corner. I loved how complete it looked now. Absolutely adore how the yellow checkered paper popped against the floral.
