Maggie Holmes Design Team : Hello Love

By Jcchris
Whenever I begin to scrap, I'll try to 'study' or look through the patterned papers & embellishments to see how I can use them differently on my layout. This patterned paper called Bright in the Shine collection captured my attention. I really love all the fun elements & immediately I got an idea to fussy cut each of them out to make my own paper embellishments! This is a fun idea especially when your embellishment stash is running low.

Once the entire fussy cutting is done, I began to arrange them on my layout. I wanted my 'paper embellishments' to be the focal point so I arrange them all in the middle & position my photo at the right corner.

TIP >> To create a little dimension to the 'paper embellishments', I adhered foam dots at the back for a 3D look. Maggie Holmes Design Team : Hello Love
I hope this post will give you an insight on how you can approach your patterned papers differently! Thanks for letting me share today!
Happy Crafting!Xoxo Jessy
