Maggie Holmes Design Team : Altered Notebook

By Jcchris
Every now & then, I really enjoy altering projects. A good shift when I want to take a break from creating scrapbook layouts. It sure is refreshing to the soul! This round, I decided to alter a notebook. Maggie Holmes Design Team : Altered Notebook

This project is fairly simple. First, I started by adhering the b&w stripe paper. Next I created a tag by using patterned papers and slowly add on the embellishments in this order : doily, vellum, frame, gold alpha & stickers. Maggie Holmes Design Team : Altered Notebook

Layering has been one of my preferred techniques whenever I create. It definitely gives a very interesting outcome to my creations. I love how all the layering turned out so well on this notebook. Just so perfect for the classy black+white+gold combo! And that 4" beautiful gold alpha sure add-on the classy look to my notebook :)

And with touches of gold mist splatters, it completed the look! And it goes very well on a black cover & kinda reminded me of the twinkling stars in the sky too :)
