Magento 2 SEO: All Default Settings Explained

If you use Magento, you already know that its new version – Magento 2 – is already out of beta. It promises new great settings, user-friendliness and better built-in SEO optimization tools.
Amasty team decided to look deeper at Magento 2 from an SEO perspective and list all the SEO settings that are available there out of the box. They also created an infographic that illustrates these settings as well as shows where they can be found inside Magento admin panel. The image can be downloaded and used as a reference.

As you can see, many things have been done by Magento team to improve the system. More remarkable innovations are Fields Auto-Generation (creates metadata for product pages using templates), rich markup on product pages (adds rich snippets with product info on Google SERPs) and easy Google Analytics and AdWords implementation (special fields for inserting tracking codes across all site pages are added).
