MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser Review

By Jhilmil D Saha @jhilmildsaha
Hey beautifuls, hope you all had a safe and colourful holi!! So once the spraying and getting drenched in color is over, now comes the part of removing the color. When I was young I remember my mom used to make a home-made cleansing ubtan to remove the color. Today, I dont have access to such ubtans, but I have one cleanser in mind that can remove makeup like PRO, if not color. I am talking about the MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser.

About MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser:
M.A.C Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser is a lightweight cleanser formulated with ionized Super-Duo Charged Water technology. It removes all makeup (except waterproof and longwearing) with a wipe and there is no rinse-off required. Leaves skin nourished, soft, and absolutely clean.'
MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser ReviewMAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser is a product of the much spoken about Mineralize Range. First of all I like the fact that it does not have a pump. Personally I feel water based cleansers should never come with pump as either a lot of product gets wasted or you actually get a very minimal amount on the cotton pad. Second, and the most important thing is they do not have any false claim, that they can remove any type of makeup. They specifically says that they cannot do much about longwear or waterproof makeup. How honest!! I love cleansing water as they are your savior for those lazy days, when you dont feel like investing time on removing makeup. Most of the days, I do not wear a full face makeup. Its a light touch up with a bb/cc cream, some bronzer, blush, lipstick, kajal & mascara. I guess for this minimal makeup this Water Cleanser is ideal. Although it does not do much for the mascara, but anyways, I use separate eye makeup remover for my eye makeup.
MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser Review
MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser cleanses foundation, concealer, and regular lipstick in one swipe, but not the stubborn makeup. You need 3 swipes to get your makeup entirely cleaned. It does not really is as effective as the Micellar waters, or even the MAC Cleanse Off oil, which is brilliant. However, as I said, I love it for how it makes my skin fresh and hydrated. You do not really have to use a second foaming cleanser or anything to remove any oiliness. You can directly apply a moisturizer.

MAC Mineralize Charged Water Cleanser is a very nice product, but given the recent trend of longwear makeup, I think it is not that relevant and so it is discontinued.
