I am die-hard fan of orange lipsticks I have morange which a true orange but I needed something little subtler which I can sport on daily basis. I had seen Scarlet Ibis swatches when Iris Apfel collection was launched and had drooled over it but unlucky I wasn’t able to get it; so when it was re-promoted again in the MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection I had to grab this beauty. So presenting here my favorite orange lippy Scarlet Ibis

My Take on MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection Scarlet Ibis Lipstick
Packaging: I totally adore the packaging glossy black tube with picture of the diva Marilyn Monroe. <3 Shade: It is a reddened orange. Neither too dark, nor bright! It will suit all skin tones very well.
Texture: I am in head over heels in love with the
texture; it’s a demi matte finish means it’s matte but creamy too. It has a subtle sheen that wears away after an hour
or so and results in a true matte finish. It applies smoothly without any
dragging and doesn't settle in fines lines. My lips never felt dry with this
on!
Pigmentation: It’s highly pigmented and one swipe is enough to give
you opaque coverage.
Staying power: The staying power is fantastic; easily stays
for 6 hours then leaves a nice stain. It survives a full meal. It does not bleed

Scarblet Ibis is the perfect reddish orange which instantly perks up my complexion.
