Today I popped down to the new LUSH store in Canterbury. It was absolutely packed in there as it was the opening day, but I have to say it is probably one of the most exciting shops i've ever been in!
One of the friendly assistants, Kate, showed me around and gave me a run down of some of the amazing products on offer. I was so impressed with all the things that she showed me, especially because everything is made of natural ingredients. LUSH as a brand promote ethical living, and there were plenty of staff on hand giving customers in store a unique experience by demonstrating how the products can be used.
I especially liked the Fun Soaps which have a putty like texture and give off the most amazing aroma when rubbed in your hands with water. It is a multipurpose product, but I like the idea of using it in the bath or sink to give the water a vibrant colour, whilst creating yummy scented bubbles! Plus 10p from each sale goes towards helping children affected by the Fukushima disaster.
The perfumes were also very exciting, and I fell head over heels in love with the vanillary scent! I will definitely be swatching and sniffing the other perfumes in the range next time I pop in.
Somehow I managed to restrain myself and purchase just three things! I reckon I got quite a good little selection though:
The first product I picked up was the Comforter Bubble Bar which I have been coveting over for quite a while. It has a very warming, sweet, berry scent to it. It kind of smells like how Haribo Fizzy Sea World sweets taste!
After trying out a few of the scrummy face masks, I asked the consultant to recommend me something for dry skin, as I have been feeling a bit parched as of late due to the blowy weather. She tried this Oatifix Mask on the back of my hand which felt extremely refreshing, then when she rinsed it off my hand felt super soft and moisturised. I love oaty smells so i'm sure I will enjoy this one alot.
The last product I picked up was this amazing Sweety Pie Shower Jelly. This is such a fun and unique product which I am so excited to use. You cant really see it in the picture but it has these gorgeous blue glitters inside and actually looks and feels like jelly!
