I LOVE LOVE LOVE these denim shorts. I have sentimental feelings for them because they belonged to my late father. He wore them to do yard work. He lives in my heart forever, but I still like to have some of his things because they remind me of him. I even did a “make-over” on them thinking Mr. S might think they were better! Can you tell? I straightened the hem. {See them previously here.}
Funnily enough, Mr. S HATES HATES HATES these shorts. He told me not to be surprised if I can’t find them one day! He cringes every times he sees them. It amuses me!
The Style Rx: Wear destroyed denim shorts like you are proud to be seen in them! Keep it casual with a plain white tee and sandals. Or class it up with a lace top – a great contrast to the denim.
Anyhow, TO ME, they are the perfect pair of shorts with a plain white tee and the best outfit for summer. Do you have a pair of cut-offs that you favor? What does your significant other think of them? Is it a LOVE or HATE situation in your house?
