Lotus: Free "Destroyer" & "Ridalin" MP3s, Tour Dates

Posted on the 23 May 2011 by Hctf @hctf

Philadelphia electronic prog rock band Lotus is giving away two non-album studio tracks. Both Destroyer and Ridalin are adventurous journeys through electronic music, touching base with Krautrock and ambient, with a sprinkling of hip-hop.

Destroyer and Ridalin were recorded during the making of Lotus’s new album to be released this fall. Working with Bill Moriarty (Dr. Dog, Man Man) and David Wrench (Caribou, Bat for Lashes) the band recorded a large batch of tracks over the last two years. These are the first recordings from those sessions to be released.
