Hey everyone! Today I am reviewing a lipstick that has made it to many of my makeup posts but has never been given its due. SoI am officially reviewing this much asked about lipstick on my blog. I have mixed this lipstick along with some or the other lip gloss on various occasions, and many of you have asked me which lip color am I sporting. So here is the review of loreal infallible lipstick Diane’s Tuberrose.

I am extremely sorry I am reviewing yet another product that is not available in India, but I am determined to find its dupe and shall share it with all of you if and when I find it.

So back to this post. This lipstick was launched as part of the Celebrity lipstick range from the Infallible series; and this one is inspired by Diane Keaton.
PRICE: $10.99 USD.
It is on the pricier side for a drugstore brand. But its a long wear formula so maybe that is the reason for the higher price tag.
PACKAGING: It comes in a rectangular shape with encases two lip products. One side has the liquid lip color which comes in a lip gloss kind of packaging. There is a doe foot applicator for applying the lipstick. The other side is a white tube which has the balm.

APPLICATION: The application is a two step process. First you apply the liquid lipstick using the applicator and then you need to wait for 30 seconds at least for the lipstick to dry . The second step is to apply the balm , which also gives the lipstick a glossy finish.

COLOR: DIANE’S TUBEROSE as the name suggests is a rosy coral color with deep red undertone. It borders on brown but is no where near a brown lip color. The coral color has a warm red/brown undertone. This color will suit almost everyone. I like this particular color as it is a breath of fresh air in my overcrowded pink and red lipstick collection.

TEXTURE: The lipstick has a smooth silicone feel when you apply it on the lips. It glides on smoothly. The only issue as far as texture is concerned is that after few hours of application if you do not reapply the balm then the lips seem to feel dry and stretched. It feels very unpleasant until you reapply the balm.
PIGMENTATION: This lipstick is very pigmented. I only need to give one full coat on my lips properly and then I only need to apply the balm.
STAYING POWER: This lipstick stays true to the word L-O-N-G W-E-A-R. It will stay on forever and ever. Not literally!! But since its a long wear formula the lipstick stays put till the time you want it to be put on. It comes off only when you use a makeup remover wipe or cleanser. And that too it doesnt come off easily. It is a good option for brides to be. Its your ideal lipstick for events and functions when you dont have much time for touch ups. But you do need to reapply the balm after few hours. otherwise your lips will feel and look very dry.

OVERALL I love this range from Loreal. Its definitely not an everyday lipstick, but Loreal Infallible lipstick Diane’s Tuberose sure is a special day special event kind of lipstick when I dont need to worry about the lipstick fading away or smudging or smearing. Other than the fact that I need to reapply the balm for keeping my lips comfortable I have no other issues with this lipstick. Its a long staying lipstick in the true sense of the word “long staying”.
