The Term Sheet is reporting that Looker.coma Santa Cruz, Calif.-based business intelligence startup, has raised $16 million in Series A funding. Redpoint Ventures led the round, and was joined by seed backer First Round Capital.”
The domain name Looker.com was purchased at the Godaddy marketplace back in May 2012 for $50,000.
The domain name was owned in early 2012 by a company Looker DNS out of Arizona.
The purchaser looks like it was Rich Skrenta of Blekko.com of Redwood City, California.
The domain then went under privacy at Godaddy where it sits today.
