Look Darling British Inspiration

By Lovegetssweeter @LoveGetsSweeter

It’s the year to celebrate everything British, what with the Queens Jubilee, Olympics and Wimbledon, so we decided to have our own little celebration in a quintessentially English seaside town, Southport. Look Darling wanted to capture some beautiful shots of their dresses in time for their big launch. If you love that vintage 50′s style then you will just adore the dresses at Look Darling!

We were lucky to have the sun shining down on us-very un-british like-as we ventured around some fabulous locations along Lord Street. Catharine Noble Photography were the lucky photographers creating and capturing the ‘looks’ with the help and guidance of the very talented Laura from Perfect Choice Planning. The first stop was the Tony McGee Bar in The Vincent Hotel where I couldn’t stop admiring the fabulous surroundings while the models sipped on jubilee inspired cocktails!

I just LOVE the above shot!

We then moved on to capture some cute shots at the bookstore inside the arcade, Kernaghan Books, before moving on to Pudding & Pie for some perfect afternoon tea set ups.

And while you’re in Southport you have to have a picture on their fabulous Victorian bandstand, can’t get more ‘British’ than that! And just look at that stunning umbrella from Love Umbrellas!
