Longboard Review Mindless Hunter

First Impressions

After unpacking the board from its sturdy packaging, I was immediately impressed with this board. It just looks….well nice. From the graphics on the underside of the deck to the subtle grip tape on the upper, it just seems to whisper to you “Go cruise on me…..”.

I have the orange variant, It’s available in either blue or orange, both look good to me. What do you think?

It took a fair bit of faffing around to get the protective film off, but that was the only downside to the whole unboxing.

How it rides

This is the bit you all want to read about, how this board rides. It’s bloody lovely to ride! You can’t do tricks on it (I dare you to try to slide it!) but for a relaxed cruise around town you really can’t go wrong. The deck is nice and springy and the whole board feels responsive. I would say that It’s taking me awhile to get used to the concave of the deck, but the more I ride it, the more I like it.

I can see me in the future swapping the ABEC-5 bearings for a set of Bones reds, but that’s about it.

Like I said before this isn’t really a board for doing tricks on, but you will love cruising around on this. It handles small objects and rough surfaces well (although I did have an incident this morning with a acorn!) , and feels really nice to just roll around on.

Conclusion

I would have no hesitation in buying another one of these boards, I honestly believe that in this price bracket you can’t get a better complete Longboard.
