Landmark navigators (like me) will find it easy to spot Log House Antiques in Cambridge City, Indiana.

Yes, this Indiana antique shop is set inside an actual log cabin that dates back to the 1800′s!

Cambridge City, Indiana: Log House Antiques

Built in 1830, it’s really an amazing building! Once one of the earliest inns in Wayne County, it’s had several different purposes since it’s room and board days. But this isn’t the original location–you’ll find that three miles away!

With a first and second floor plus a basement, this renovated log cabin boasts three levels of fantastic Indiana antiques. Rough-hewn wood walls and the aged beams lends a cozy, rustic feel.

A fireplace (that actually works) and narrow spiral staircase just add to the warm atmosphere!

As incredible and unique as this Indiana town shop may be, it’s what’s inside that really counts! You’ll discover fantastic primitive antiques, Indiana art and gifts, like pottery by Mary Thalls and hand-blown glass by Jeff Thalls–get a load of those unique paperweights!

The Log House Antiques is tastefully arranged. Twinkling white lights placed here and there create peaceful ambiance.

Every item feels like it belongs, like it has always been there, but knowing the great selection of items that lie inside this antique shop–it probably won’t be lying there for long!

From kitchen wares to old wooden blocks, a rocking horse, and lovely furniture, make sure to add this Wayne County antique shop to your “must go” list.

This is just one of many stops on Antique Alley on US 40. Our boys enjoyed the chance to poke around a log cabin and I’d be lying if I didn’t say that was a highlight for us, too. What a fun find.
