Produced from the early 1960s to the 1970s, the Lockheed JetStar was the first dedicated business jet to enter service.  First flown in 1957, it was also one of the largest aircraft in the class for many years, seating ten plus two crew.  JetStar II’s were produced from 1976 through 1979 with turbofan engines and revised external fuel tanks.  This example was built in 1978 and is the latest addition to the Museum collection.  Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
